How to send a change order
On an accepted quote press Change order; once the customer accepts it, its lines are added to the job.

A change order is extra work agreed after the quote, e.g. a second shutoff valve found on the day. It is sent and accepted like a quote, and stays linked to the quote it changes.
Where
Quotes → open an accepted quote → Change order, at the bottom.
Steps
- Press Change order. A new draft opens, called "Change order 1 to quote Q-0012", for the same customer.
- Add the lines for the extra work.
- Press Send. The customer's page says which quote it changes.
What happens next
- When it is accepted, its lines are added to the original quote's job, each marked with the change order's number. No second job is made.
- Invoicing that job bills the original lines and the change order's together.
- The original quote lists its change orders under Change orders, with each one's total and state.
If it doesn't work
- "A change order changes work already agreed." The quote is not accepted yet: edit it instead.
- "This is already a change order." Write the change against the original quote.
