How to give some customers their own prices
Make a price list such as Commercial or Wholesale, give a customer that list, and lines from your price list take its prices on their quotes, invoices, jobs and private booking link.

Some customers pay different prices: a commercial account, a wholesale buyer, members. A price list holds their prices: its own price, or a percent off your standard price, for the entries you choose. Every other entry stays at the standard price.
Where
- Quotes → Price list → the Price lists tab.
- On a quote, invoice or job, once you have a price list: This customer pays, above your price list.
Steps
- On the Price lists tab, type a name, e.g. Commercial, and press Add price list.
- For each entry it changes, pick Own price and type the price, or Percent off and type the percent, e.g. 10. Leave the rest on Standard price.
- Open a quote, invoice or job for the customer and pick the list under This customer pays. The customer stays on that list for every quote, invoice and job after this one.
- Tap entries in the price list as usual. A line from an entry the list covers takes the list's price, and says Priced from the Commercial price list under it.
The private booking link
When online booking is switched on, each price list has its own booking link. Press Copy booking link and send it to those customers. The booking page then shows that list's prices, and a booking made from it is priced at them.
- Otto works the price out from the list when the booking is made. A price sent by the page is never used.
- An instant price takes the list's price as its base, and the answers add what they add on top.
- Anyone with the link sees those prices. If it reaches the wrong person, press Make a new link: the old link then shows your standard prices.
Good to know
- Percent off is rounded to the cent, half up.
- Typing a different price on a line takes the list label off it, because the list no longer priced it.
- Changing a list does not change quotes, invoices or jobs already written: their lines keep their prices.
- Removing a list puts its customers back on the standard prices.
- Price lists are money. A position that does not see money is not shown the Price lists tab. Only an owner or admin can make lists or change which list a customer is on.
- A business keeps up to 20 price lists.
If it doesn't work
- "There is already a price list called ..." Pick another name.
- "This private price link is no longer in use" on the booking page: the link was replaced. Copy the new one from the Price lists tab.
