How to book meetings with your own page

Each person on your team gets a booking page at /meet. Prospects pick a time in their own time zone, both of you get an invite, and the meeting counts for per-meeting billing.

Instead of pasting a Calendly link, give prospects Otto's own booking page. A "yes" becomes a meeting booked inside Otto.

Make your page

Open Settings → Meetings. Choose:

  • Title: what the meeting is called, like "Intro call".
  • Length: 15, 30, 45 or 60 minutes.
  • Buffer: a gap kept free around each meeting.
  • Up to: how far ahead people can book.
  • Time zone and your hours for each day.

Press Make my page. Your link is shown at the top, with Copy link. The switch beside it turns the page off.

Leave out your busy times

Google Calendar and Outlook each give your calendar a secret iCal address:

  • Google Calendar: Settings → your calendar → Secret address in iCal format.
  • Outlook: Settings → Calendar → Shared calendars → Publish a calendar → the ICS link.

Paste it under Your calendar and press Save address. Otto reads only start and end times, never titles or guests, and keeps the address encrypted. If it can't be read, people can still book and the page says your calendar couldn't be checked.

What happens when someone books

  • They pick a day and time in their own time zone and type their name, email and company.
  • You both get an email with a calendar invite. It has a link to cancel or move the meeting.
  • They become a contact with a "Meeting booked" note.
  • If they're a prospect in a campaign, their emails stop and the meeting goes on the campaign's meeting list, so it counts for billing per meeting.

If email isn't setup on the server, the booking still goes through and the page offers the invite as a download.

Put it in a campaign

Open the campaign, find Links, and press Use my booking page. When a prospect replies interested, the drafted answer in Replies offers the same link.
