How to connect Otto to Zapier

Send Otto's cold email events, such as a new reply or a started campaign, into Zapier today with Webhooks by Zapier. The Otto app in Zapier's directory is coming.

Updated 2026-10-30

Zapier connects Otto to thousands of other apps: post a new interested reply in Slack, add a kept business to a Google Sheet, or create a deal in your CRM when a campaign starts.

Connect today with Webhooks by Zapier

The Otto app is not in Zapier's directory yet. Until it is, use Webhooks by Zapier, which is part of Zapier's paid plans.

  1. In Zapier, make a Zap. For the trigger, pick Webhooks by Zapier, then Catch Hook.
  2. Copy the webhook address Zapier gives you.
  3. In Otto, open Settings → Integrations and scroll to Webhooks.
  4. Paste the address, tick the events you want, such as Someone replied, and press Add webhook.
  5. Press Send a test beside the new webhook, then go back to Zapier and test the trigger. Zapier now shows what a message from Otto looks like.
  6. Add the actions you want, such as Slack or Google Sheets, and turn the Zap on.

Each message carries the event, when it happened and its details. See how to get cold email events with webhooks for what each event contains.

Do things in Otto from Zapier

To look up a website or add businesses to a campaign from a Zap, use Webhooks by Zapier with the POST action and the cold email API, with an API key in the header Authorization: Bearer. See how to use the cold email API.

The Otto app is coming

An Otto app in Zapier's directory is on the way. With it you will sign in with an API key and pick Otto's events and actions from a list, without copying addresses. It will add and remove its own webhooks, which show under Webhooks marked as added with an API key. Until it is listed, Webhooks by Zapier does the same work.

Good to know

  • A business can have 5 webhooks, including any a tool adds.
  • Nothing you do through Zapier sends email on its own: starting a campaign and answering a reply wait in Reviews just as they do from Otto.
