How to keep track of deal registrations

Record the big projects you registered with a brand to protect your price, and see when each one expires.

Updated 2026-10-17

Many brands let a dealer register a large project, such as a home theater, so the dealer gets protected pricing. Deal registrations in Operations → Partner programs keeps each one with its number and expiry date. Otto keeps the record; you register the deal on the brand's portal yourself. Someone who manages the business adds them.

Add a registration

  1. Open Partner programs and the Deal registrations tab.
  2. Press Add deal registration.
  3. Pick the Program, or type the Brand if you do not keep the program in Otto.
  4. Give the Project a name, for example "Lake house theater".
  5. Add the Quote number, the Registration number the brand gave you, the Expected value, and the Submitted and Expires dates.
  6. Save.

Follow it

Move each registration through Planned, Submitted, Approved or Rejected, then Won or Expired. Registrations are listed by expiry date, soonest first, so the ones about to lapse are at the top.

On a program you can set Register deals over: the project value above which that brand expects a registration. It is a reminder for you; Otto does not register anything.

Good to know

  • A business can keep 300 registrations.
  • Expected value is a money figure, hidden from positions that do not see money.

If it doesn't work

  • "Pick the program, or say which brand the registration is with."
  • "Give the project a name."
  • "Give the expiry date as YYYY-MM-DD." — a date was not a real date.
