Positions and who sees what

Each person holds one position, and the position decides what they see and may do.

Make positions on the Team page. For each one you choose:

• Which parts of Otto it sees. A page it does not see is closed to it, not just hidden.
• Whose records: everyone's, or only their own customers and jobs. Every list, count and total is then limited to theirs.
• Whether it sees money: revenue, finances and other people's pay.
• Whether it may write quotes and write invoices and record payments. These are separate on purpose.
• Whether it may approve what waits in Reviews.
• Whether it manages: settings, the team, integrations and automations.

Otto chat follows the same rules: it can only read what the person asking may see.
