Give each guest a stay page
A private page for every stay with check-in steps, house rules and local tips, the door code shown only near arrival, a pre-arrival form and extras guests can ask for.
Updated 2026-10-25
Every short-term stay has its own private page for the guest. It shows what they need to arrive and settle in, and lets them tell you when they will arrive.
What the guest sees
- The dates, the check-in time and the checkout time.
- The address and check-in steps from the unit's Guest details.
- The door code and wifi, only from the day before check-in to checkout day. Before that, the page says when they will show.
- House rules from the unit's Guest details.
- Local tips, from Stay rules and guest page on the unit.
- A pre-arrival form: arrival time, number of guests, the language they would like you to write in, and a note.
- Extras you offer, which the guest can ask for.
The page closes when the stay is cancelled, and three days after checkout.
Send the link
Open a stay (press Guest page beside it on the Stays tab or on the unit) to copy the link. To send it on its own, put {guest_page} in one of your scheduled messages, such as Before check-in.
The pre-arrival form
What the guest sends shows on the stay under Pre-arrival form, and Otto leaves you a notice. If the guest picks a language, Otto writes its reply drafts to that guest in it.
Extras
On the Stays tab, under Extras on the guest page, switch on what you offer: Early check-in, Late checkout or A mid-stay clean. You can add the price you would charge, which the guest sees.
When a guest asks for one, it waits under Requests and on the stay. Press Approve or Decline; the guest sees your answer on their page. An approved mid-stay clean becomes a job for the unit's cleaner halfway through the stay. Otto charges nothing: collect any payment the way you usually do.
Review drafts
On a stay, under Review drafts:
- Review of the guest: after checkout, Otto drafts a short, fair review from the stay's dates and your notes.
- Reply to their review: paste the guest's review, and Otto drafts a calm public reply.
Pick a language if you want the draft in another one. Otto does not post reviews: copy the draft and paste it on the listing site.
