How to sell Otto Business to your clients under your own brand

Settings → Tools → Reseller mode. Name your product, use your logo and colour, give clients your own app address, and make a whole business for each client in one step.

Reseller mode lets an agency sell Otto Business to its own clients as its own product. Each client gets a complete business of their own, set up from yours, and sees your name, logo and colour instead of Otto's. It's part of the Business plan, and only an owner can change it.

Steps

Open Settings → Tools → Reseller mode.
Under Your brand, type your Product name (for example "Lumen OS"), the Assistant's name your clients see instead of Otto, a Colour and a Support email. Your logo is the one under Settings → Branding of this business. Press Save, then switch your brand on.
Optionally, under Your app address, type an address under your own domain such as app.youragency.com and press Save. Add the A record shown where your domain's DNS is managed, then press Check. Once it says Live, your clients sign in there.
Press New client account. Type the client's business name, pick the Kind of business and Their plan, choose a business to Copy the setup from, add the Client's email to invite them, and what you charge them a month. Press Make it.

What your client gets

A whole business of their own: its menu, sales stages and fields for its kind, and the workflows, forms, message templates, website chat settings and checklists copied from the business you picked. Copied workflows start switched off.
An invitation in your product's name. They join as an admin and run their business; you're an owner of it, so you can open it any time from Your clients with Open.
Your name, logo, colour and assistant's name in the app. Invitations and password emails use your product's name, and once your app address is live they link there.

Your clients list

Your clients shows each client's plan, what you charge, how many people use it, their contacts and new contacts in the last 30 days, how much of the month's AI work is used, and when anything last happened there. Change a client's plan or price right in the list.

Nothing is charged to your clients from here. Each client is also added to your Contacts, so you invoice them from your own Invoices.

Good to know

On your own app address, clients sign in with their email and password. Google sign-in isn't offered there, because it returns people to Otto's address.
Turning your brand off shows Otto's name to your clients again. Nothing else changes.
An agency sees only the client businesses it made here.
